A beautiful day to patrol East Midlands Airport for our specially trained #ProjectServator officers. Working alongside airport security and staff we aim to keep you and the airport safe from crime and terrorism. Together, we've got it covered. 🚓 👮🏿 👮🐕‍🦺 😎 ☀️ 🍧

A road safety operation was carried out around the airport to check the safety of cars, particularly taxis. Sadly far too many of the vehicles we stopped had defects and one was seized. If you book a taxi you should expect it to be road worthy. We'll be doing more checks soon.

Yesterday, the East Midlands Airport Police 🛫 team welcomed 2195 (Long Eaton) Sqn Royal Air Force Air Cadets to East Midlands Airport . A presentation was delivered on the specialist role and responsibilities of policing an airport. The smartly presented cadets were a credit to their regiment and the evening was enjoyed by all.
