🚨Poverty Stats out on Thursday morning🚨

Have had this on my banner for a while but this week will show if it is nearly too late for the interim targets.

The message is still true but we need ambition and urgency.

SG need to show it is genuinely their first priority.

Thanks Bylines Scotland for the chance to discuss today’s budget and why it is a long way from helping us end the need for food banks

The Chancellor wants growth, but the reality is growing inequality. Today’s budget failed to deliver on the long term structural change that’s so desperately needed to provide stability and opportunity for everyone. Right now far too many face this issues I describe ⬇️

Don't let stigma stop you asking for help or taking part.
Pop along for a cuppa next week & join the conversation helping to make sure that local services are aware of the difficulties stigma causes – & then make sure that services are reacting sensitively to that
