Tough battles tonight in a 24-60 loss to a good Pike County squad. Forfeited 3 classes and sent out 6 freshmen in our starting lineup. We will learn from it and get back to work at practice tomorrow.

Fun day out StrongRockChristian for the MS tournament. Luke took 1st with all 1st period pins. Gage took 2nd as a 5th grader, Makhi took 3rd at heavyweight, Aidan took 3rd and beat a kid who beat him in the opening round. Awesome job guys.

HS competed at the Rock invite today. Pictured is 190lbs runner-up Malachi. We also had: Jack 106lbs 3rd, Allen 120lbs 1st, Rush 138lbs 4th, and Mel 190lbs 4th.

One of the best pieces of advice I got is that anyone can train when they feel like it. Those that are obsessed with CONSISTENCY and train when at their worst mentally are your winners of the marathon. You don’t always want to be there (Xmas Break) but you find a reason to be.

0-2 in duals tonight vs Strong Rock and Callaway, hurt not having our seniors, but enjoyed seeing the young guys get out there. Back to work tomorrow getting ready for sectional duals at Jordan High School.

Advanced to the sweet 16 by beating Jeff Davis 47-30 in the first round. Lost in the 2nd round to a tough Murray Team 24-48. Proud of the young team for getting out there and competing.

Came up short in both duals, happens when you only have 9. 24-36 L to Landmark and 21-45 L to Whitewater. 6 of 9 wrestlers picked up wins, Calderon and Yemisrach both 2-0 on the night. Next up Callaway Scramble to tune up before Areas.

Great end of the season tournament for our guys. Couple tournament champions for the seniors (Allen&Tucker) and a 4th place finish for one of our freshman. Was great to see Tucker Hardeman on the mat for the first time this season due to a bad football injury. God is good!

2nd place in the 2A-area 5 individual tournament. Eleven kids moving on to sectionals at Jeff Davis next weekend. Area champs include: Allen (120), Tucker (144), Melbourne (175), and Brandon (215). Way to Chargers! See y'all at practice Monday.

Great ELCA wrestling moment as Allen Calderon becomes only the 2nd Charger to reach the 100 win milestone. Way to go Allen, we are all so proud of you.

Sadly two Chargers seasons came to an end today. Great season for Melbourne Brown and Brandon Mancuso, proud of you guys. We have Jack Shuler and Tucker Hardeman in the consi semis and Allen Calderon in the finals. Let's see how it goes tomorrow.
