Hopefully the Boise local media doesn’t try to spin zone Tulane beating Memphis as a small sliver of hope that Boise State can make the college football playoffs….

Many Mid-South residents are going to be madder than a kicked hornets nest with these wind chills on Sunday… #TNwx #MSwx #ARwx

Temperatures are down in the 30s and there is still another ~10° to be lost tonight. Monday morning will likely have the coldest temperatures we've had in over eight months. #TNwx #MSwx #ARwx

For as much as I enjoy covering high school football in the different areas I have worked/work, it is always sad and sucks to see kids get hurt. I know it’s part of it (heck I know first hand), but still isn’t fun. At all.

A dense fog advisory has been issued for parts of #ARwx, #TNwx and #MOwx until 10 AM on Monday [11/24] morning. Visibility values are already down to 1 mile in Dyersburg and will likely get worst before it gets better. Not a great night to be traveling north on I-55

North of I-40 is quite a bit drier than south of I-40. While there have been a couple of t'storms around, the ability to see/experience severe weather around the Mid-South is very low. Periods of moderate-to-heavy rain and some 40+ mph winds gusts will be possible tonight, though

Sustained winds have been over 20 mph in Memphis since about 10 PM and wind gusts have been over 30 mph over the past 80+ minutes. I think the wind advisory is verifying.... Not a fun night to be a FedEx pilot landing at Memphis International Airport! #TNwx

Grab a jacket heading out the door this morning; chilly northwest wind blows into the Mid-South today with highs in the lower to middle 50s. The wind keeps a persistent nip in the air through the day.

The afternoon and evening has been wet around the Mid-South, but rain chances will diminish throughout the rest of the night. Should be a generally dry day around the Mid-South for Sunday. #TNwx #MSwx #ARwx #MOwx

While most people likely didn't enjoy the weather on Saturday, Sunday's weather will be a bit more manageable around the Mid-South. Temperatures will be ~15° below average, but there will be a bit more sunshine around than Saturday [drier, too!]. #TNwx #MSwx #ARwx #MOwx
