Woo hoo! 👏 Our very own Ed Bourgeois made it onto CSPAN to comment on nutrient density, chemicals, and ultra-processed food. We can count this as a win for regenerative farming and permaculture design! However, let’s not get comfortable just yet; we gotta keep the pressure

Congressman Brad Finstad House Committee on Agriculture I listened to a little bit of the testimony at your hearing. Either you guys are woefully ignorant on the structure of the hog industry or are very gullible. 40 firms own 70% of US hogs. 37 slaughter plants are 96% of US slaughter volume. This isn’t about saving small farms.

Sheep, lamb and wool are a baffling missed opportunity in the US. Especially with Regenerative Ag. interest booming. Because of the diverse plant species grazing selection, efficient and added nutritional spectrum benefits in the meat. Wool fiber is the forgotten natural treasure

This is why the addition of deeply understanding microbial functioning driving Regenerative Ag. is so crucial. Must appreciate the impressive health those microbes alone provided.
