Cadw/DYF Neath Abbey Day introduced year 8 pupils to how stonemasons work and even gave them the opportunity to get hands on and try some of the skills! @dwryfelin Cadw

Cadw/DYF Neath Abbey Day brought Nicholas the Apothecary to us. Our pupils enjoyed listening to his stories about the history and philosophy of medicine. #gruesome @dwryfelin Cadw

Cadw/DYF Neath Abbey Day - The most exciting part of the day was the privilege of being able to go behind the big wooden door and enter the amazing undercroft! The medieval tiles are a sight to behold! #hanesyngwych @dwryfelin Cadw

Cadw/DYF Neath Abbey Day - An extra treat this year came thanks to Harriet Eaten (NPT's Heritage Education Officer) and historian and friend of DYF Bill Zajac. Actual artefacts excavated from the site returned nearly 500 years after they were in situ! Wow! @dwryfelin Cadw
