Who else had Calvin Picard for the Conn Smythe winner. My 1 cent bet at the start of the seasons pays out 19,454,100.01 if i win :)

One of the most clutch, reliable playoff performers in Leafs history. Always rose to the occasion, never shied away from the big moment. Truly a cornerstone of success in Toronto Wishing you the best of luck Marner! #LeafsForever

I loved Mitch. Was my favorite Leaf for a long time. But with a big enough sample size and time, that love has eroded. I've supported Mitch and if he was in blue and white i'd continue to support him. But the ship has sailed and the Leafs will be better off without him as long

When a team is that good, sometimes it makes it seem like your fav team didn't show up. Of course the oilers showed up in a game 5 of the cup finals at home. Florida are just fucking beasts and continue to prove it.

Leafs struggle to get over the hump in big games! the stats dont lie man. Marner had 9 years to get it done.. if that isn't a big enough sample size for people i don't know what is. Nylander/Matthews are signed. it's never been more obvious to me what this team needs to do to

Mcdavid and Drai just proved you can alter the roster around them significantly and they can still drag a team to the finals. Get a fucking goalie. 2 even.

Goaltending is always the dif. Give the oilers .914 and their odds to win it all def go up. The overtime loss turns to a W etc, back breaking goal doesn’t go in. Yes they needed to score more too but going down early changes the whole game.

the problem with hoping Stolarz is healthy and can be the man next year is he's never shown he can play 50+ regular season games and more than 8 playoff games. ( Bob was run hard vs carolina and kept trucking) Durability and ability to stay healthy is part of your makeup.

Playing #Switch2 on my 34 inch widescreen 1440P 144hz monitor is nice. looks way crisper than my 1080p TV upstairs. Curious to see what it would look like in 4k now. Might have to get that 3rd monitor I've been contemplating. Mario Kart World and Breath of the Wild look

Bang on and great analogy. This is why Knies has been so valuable. Near 30 goal power forward making ELC money? Who wouldn't love that. And next up potentially Cowan if he can produce at a high level relative to his contract. Also makes me ponder the " What IF" if the leafs

Dwayne Bennett (@dwaynenhl) 's Twitter Profile Photo

If JT signed the exact contract as Duchene just did..For them both to clear the same money, JT would be at 5.69M x 4 in Toronto and they'd both clear 2.66M per season.

As much as i'd Love Marchand dude is approaching Marleau's age when he signed in TO. Was fine his first year. 2nd year was clearly not good and forced their hand to get rid of him for a 1st. Marchand is great and i'd want him on my team but the term and dollars have to make

Dwayne Bennett (@dwaynenhl) 's Twitter Profile Photo

NHL Gm signs TJ Brodie after watching his final season in TO and how bad it was. Not only signed him, gave him term and 3.75M per. I get trying to reach a cap floor on a rebuilding team and having vets around but that's just terrible asset management. Makes you think there's
