Some people think of creative inspiration as being a rare lightning strike, but in my experience, creative inspiration is always flowing. The question is: are we open to it?

Reflecting on how to a people never taught that "drugs are bad," of course the sanctity of visionary plant medicines would be self-evident at healthy doses. Of course it would. Plucked from Mother Earth herself, consumed, and then consciousness expands majestically.

The history of hallucinogenic plants and indigenous cultures is a history of Nature revealing Her sanctity to humanity through gifts of Herself.

I think a lot of folks don't realize when they are trying to "be nice" or "let someone down easy" that mixed signals are far more harmful for most people when dating than even a harsh no. The inconsistency of mixed signals can cause immense anxiety and inner turmoil.

It’s painful to not feel seen, but it can feel even worse to feel seen incorrectly. This is part of why it’s so critical to lead with curiosity over judgment when checking-in with people.

It is OK to be in a cocoon stage. To not have the clarity, insight, or answers but just be with the process - and to not expect them right away either. To know that some things take time, and you aren't a failure if that's where you are. It's OK to be doing your best and waiting.

It's true that accountability is warranted because of impact, despite intent. But it's also important that that accountability is for the impact, separate from intent when there was no intent to harm. Punishing someone for intent they didn't have is not accountability for impact.

Feeling lonely without a romantic relationship doesn't necessarily mean someone doesn't love themselves enough. While it's true that people can crave a relationship out of insecurity, the deeper need for one is fundamental to many people and has nothing to do with self-esteem.
