w/c Mon 9th January - 20.8 miles this week from a 5.2 mile Hereford Livestock Market circuit, a 7.6 mile Kyre Park walk with Leominster Ramblers and a 8 mile Bromyard Downs & Bringsty Common circuit with daughter Kate and Tilly (the dog) YTD 40.1 miles of #walk2023

Sun 12th Feb 8 miles on another recce - this time from The Woodshed, #GeoparkWay Eastnor Castle estate to The Obelisk, Peacock Villa, Netherton Farm, #KilburyCamp, Bradlow, "Cut Throat Lane", Ledbury YTD 137.5 miles of #walk2023 An excellent walk on a perfect day!

Wed 15th Feb 6.6 miles with #EastRadnor RamblersGB from Wigmore to Wigmore Castle and Wigmore Rolls YTD 144.1 miles - a new route for me and a good walk

Thurs 16th Feb 8 miles leading Leominster Ramblers ramble on Bromyard Downs past Warren Farm, through NT Brockhampton across to Bringsty Common past Nuttage Farm and Clater Park YTD 152.1 miles #walk2023miles

20th February - hooray! 2nd cataract op carried out and eye recovering well. Thank you to all the excellent team involved at the @NHS #Hereford County Hospital, #VictoriaEyeUnit. Hopefully back to serious RamblersGB & Leominster Ramblers in 2 - 3 weeks #walk2023

Sun 26th Feb 6.3 miles round #Hereford on first walk since cataract op last Monday. YTD 150.4 of #walk2003. A cold but beautiful day with everything absolutely clear. Thank you NHS Herefordshire & Worcestershire

Tues 28th Feb 9.2 miles on the flat - home to Stretton Sugwas, Blue Diamond Garden Centre (coffee, cheese scone & comfort stop), #Hereford High Town & home YTD 159.6 miles of #walk2023

Thurs 2nd March 4.8 miles walked to/from an excellent #Hereford RamblersGB lunch social Greene King Rose & Crown pub YTD 164.4 miles of #walk2023 Good food & great company!

Sat 4th March another 8 mile recce, with daughter Kate, for an upcoming walk from #Eastnor Woodshed on #GeoParkWay through Eastnor Deer Park to the Obelisk, Netherton Farm, Kilbury Camp, #Ledbury and back YTD 172.4 miles #walk2023
