🙏yet another plea from the Head of Dulwich Prep & Senior to the parents/drivers who have been abusing residents, staff and other parents, and putting children in danger! ‼️ Why is the head of a top private school not simply expelling those pupils whose parents repeatedly behave like this?

Good news: more children are walking, cycling and taking public transport to school since the introduction of the ULEZ in central London. Not only is the ULEZ helping tackle London’s toxic air, but it is also encouraging families to be more active. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Bollards protecting pedestrians on pavements are being knocked down across Dulwich. The taxpayer foots the bill. Must be caused by the children on bikes that the Court Lane Residents Association chair seems obsessed with? Pictures of Calton Ave, Court Lane and College Road:

The point is that motorists cause an awful lot of damage to public realm, crashing into stuff or even just general wear on roads. Ultimately, tax payers (many of whom do not drive) have to pay for this through tax or, in this instance, the fee to the Dulwich Estate

Next week is #Week38, where hospitals receive the most admissions for children with asthma. With traffic on the Sth Circular still 7.9% lower than pre-LTN (2019), it's good to see child asthma admissions falling at a faster rate than rest of London since Janet Daby MP Brenda Dacres

Incredible levels of driver entitlement on Croxted Rd yesterday. Each told by a Lambeth rep that the road was closed because it was unstable. But they ignore, and the signs, and drive through regardless. More damage, more disruption for residents. HS24BKV LV21RGO YD60ZWK

One of the most important things I learnt from ⁦⁦Chris Boardman CBE⁩ last night was that infrastructure built to national standards increases active travel by 20-60% and halves deaths; 'painted lines' increase deaths by 10% and don't increase active travel at all.

CyclingMikey the Unspeakable We’ve had many reports about ihateironing: Dry Cleaning Delivery drivers in Dulwich. They have a terrible record and they seem ineffective as a company to address the dangerous behaviour of their drivers:
