#HerneHill station 71 years ago (1953). Shops at the bus stop had been destroyed in WW2 and the building there today not built until the 1960s.

Congratulations to Ian McInnes, our #LocalHistory Chair. A book he co-authored, Dulwich Mid-Century Oasis, won an award at the Architectural Book of the Year awards last night! Available Royal Institute of British Architects and all good bookshops.

Partizan Dulwich Local History It is not Crouch End see photo of it below. Their main distribution dairy was in Farringdon Road plus some smaller dairies in South London and one in the West End. Most likely it is one of them. Be good to know which one.

We would be delighted to invite Governor Tim Walz to see the James Caird Dulwich College & the #Shackleton archive material we look after, but imagine he will be busy over the next few months.

Fabulous image of Dulwich Village and Dr Webster's fountain! The cart belongs to the Hudson Brothers of Ludgate Hill, and advertises Brittany Butter. Where did you find such a great pic?
