This is so so incredible. Barbara Hollunder, netstim and Andreas Horn bring DBS to the cover of Nature Neuroscience. I bet no one else in the 25 years history of DBS has pulled this off! Also a good sign that perhaps they acknowledge the importance of human neuroscience research.
Super excited that our dysfunctome paper is finally out at Nature Neuroscience!
Certainly by far the most important work I have been involved in so far.
Huge congratulations and kudos to Barbara Hollunder and Ningfei Li for seeing this through. Fantastic tweetorial by Barbara below 👇👇
Hey - that's me! Come join and hear about our experiences thus far. Very exciting area of research and I hope to share some wisdom for others thinking about setting up innovative studies of #focusedultrasound .
Thanks for the fantastic feedback on our paper, everyone.
We are over the moon! 💫
In case you are interested but you lack the time to read the entire thing, we wrote a one-page summary for Nature Neuroscience that is freely available here: rdcu.be/dzqw2
Congratulations Michael Okun such a dynamic force and such a pleasure to interact with in our (sadly) few meetings!
Read and enjoy.
