Since the beginning of December 2022, and shortly after the formation of the National Taskforce on Ebola Virus Disease in November, the Ministry of Health and partners have been running an #EVDawareness campaign on its social media platforms, as well as radio and TV

and others will continue to engage Kenyans on the 'do's and dont's' as regards EVD in the ongoing #EVDawareness campaign

Kenyans are therefore advised to be vigilant, alert, and aware of their environment so as to help the Ministry of Health prevent, detect and respond to any signals of EVD, as well as any other disease, as part of our civic, patriotic, and social responsibility to self and to country.

In the event of detection of a case in Kenya, the Government of Kenya through Ministry of Health will, through the elaborate and existing communication structures, alert, inform and guide the country on how to manage EVD.
