The continuous Risk Communication and Community Engagement #EVDawareness campaign is being done to SENSITIZE Kenyans and the community at large, and not in response to any EVD case in Kenya.
For clarity, Ministry of Health has NOT detected or CONFIRMED an EVD case in Kenya.
Since the beginning of December 2022, and shortly after the formation of the National Taskforce on Ebola Virus Disease in November, the Ministry of Health and partners have been running an #EVDawareness campaign on its social media platforms, as well as radio and TV
The Ministry of Health together with other stakeholders
WHO Kenya UNICEF Kenya PATH Amref Health Africa in Kenya World Vision Kenya CDC Kenya Kenya Red Cross IOM Kenya USAID Kenya
and others will continue to engage Kenyans on the 'do's and dont's' as regards EVD in the ongoing #EVDawareness campaign
Follow Ministry of Health here and on our Social Media platforms for more information on EVD and #EVDawareness
Kenyans are therefore advised to be vigilant, alert, and aware of their environment so as to help the Ministry of Health prevent, detect and respond to any signals of EVD, as well as any other disease, as part of our civic, patriotic, and social responsibility to self and to country.
In the event of detection of a case in Kenya, the Government of Kenya through Ministry of Health will, through the elaborate and existing communication structures, alert, inform and guide the country on how to manage EVD.

The Ministry of Health 's continuous communication on #EVDawareness as well as other diseases of epidemic potential is meant to get all of us alert and responsive as individuals and the community is keeping ourselves healthy and safe. Ministry of Health
The #EVDawareness campaigns are done to sensitize the General Public on preventing, detecting, reporting, and managing any sign of the highly infectious and deadly EVD. Community awareness is a potent resource for combatting the spread of diseases in the Community
