Just one small correction - childminders are still legally exempt from regulation, unless they mind 4 or more preschoolers or 7 or more school aged children.

Your commentary is very timely Miriam. And raises again the urgent need to amend the existing regulations so that the 000s of childminders who are currently unable to register with Tusla - Child and Family Agency can do so.
