1/ Important NEW report from Institute for Fiscal Studies Shows that doctors pay eroded more than all other public sector workers (vs private sector has recovered). They have used 2010 as a start date in the chart below, not the start of austerity.... doing so significantly increases pay loss

Last year, graduating doctors were given ‘placeholder’ jobs due to an utterly atrocious failure of workforce planning. This year, those same doctors in the Oxford (Thames Valley) Foundation School are being treated truly abysmally once again. (1/2)

TLDR: vote for me for BMA council. After years of decline for doctors, BMA is finally turning the tide on FPR, dr substitution and UKgradPrio (my main priorities). We can’t achieve them without a lean and effective BMA. Vote to demand efficiency and accountability.
