Eric Feigl-Ding ... in the UK, for example, our pre-hospital providers have had "Recognition of Life Extinct" criteria for years. There is no justification, inside or outside a pandemic, for racing a corpse to hospital, endangering crew & other road users w/ no benefit to the deceased patient.

Nat'l Assoc of EMTs The silliest part of ET3, other than ending it, was requiring a complex process for enrolling in something that just makes common sense. CMS should encourage the entire continuum of healthcare to come up with reasonable and thoughtful solutions to our current boarding crisis.
