Ms. Zofia Czekalska joined Polish scouting at 13.

She was 16 when WW2 began. She participated in the #WarsawUprising as a runner for Home Army units. After the war, Ms. Czekalska was active in veteran organizations.

Yesterday, she passed away at the age of 100.
