I had a vision and the ED’s made it a reality. Co-laboring during October PD Day in many cases combing campuses in feeder pattern and in others singletons now have thought partners. Great thing happening in Unit 2!

When you are fortunate to serve with a think partner… that’s not a boss… that’s a coach! I’m so grateful to be a player on team Shana Perry whose superpower is empowering others. We can’t celebrate her one day… we’re celebrating her all week. @HISDNorthDiv.

The Coach of my Coach!!!

No tricks today…these @HISDNorthDiv principals are the real treat to their students, staff & school communities. It’s officially the last day to #ThankAPrincipal but we need to sing their praises every day. #PrincipalsInAction

This #Friendsgiving was not just about the food…. It was about these @HISDNorthDiv princiPALS giving feedback to each other while fellowshipping to support student growth and teacher development. When I count my blessings, they are definitely amongst them. #PrincipalsInAction

These principals are definitely not naughty…. They are dedicated…. motivated…and will move mountains to support their students and staff. Instructional rounds at three campuses was a whirlwind day but supporting them is the gift that keeps on giving this season.

Going into 2024, it’s important to set goals for yourself, but it’s equally as important to identify an accountability partner to ensure that you keep working toward attaining those goals… 1% …small wins … over time equate to big gains and these princiPALS are all in.

I am often baffled when I hear my friends say that they can’t wait for their kids to go back to school…followed by I don’t know how these teachers do it! As I visited schools today, I was reminded of the dedication and passion teachers and leaders have for our students. Day 1!
