Concert and Studio Orchestras were treated to a wonderful performance this afternoon by the Ivalas Quartet - the quartet and residence at Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts. We heard great music, had a wonderful coaching and got to hear and see a real Stradivarius violin! 🎻

YHS orchestra students performed as part of the the Area All-State String and Symphony Orchestras this evening. Both ensembles are made up the most talented students from all over Westchester County, and they were terrific! Bravo to our students on two amazing performances!🎻✨🎻

The YHS Tri-M Music Honor Society enjoyed a great trip to Broadway today! The morning was spent in a workshop learning the music and choreography to a scene from Hadestown led by Tanner Ray Wilson, one of the cast members, followed by a phenomenal performance of show.✨🎶✨

The YHS Concert Orchestra spent their morning learning and performing side-by-side with students at the Celia Cruz Bronx High School of Music, followed by a tour of Carnegie Hall, a trip to the RiseNY Museum, and games at Bowlero. Great music, new friends and fun memories🎵🎻😊
