Whitstable RNLI has issued a warning about persons attempting to swim or walk out to the old pier head off Herne Bay. This comes after the lifeboat was launched on Monday evening following a report of two teenagers who had not returned after swimming out to the former pier head.

So, this happened on the Thames ... 😂 Sound on!

Whitstable RNLI was visited by historic lifeboat 'AMiTy' today, 30th Aug passing close to Whitstable's own historic lifeboat 'Chieftain'. She is visiting each lifeboat station from Bembridge to the Tower station in London - a distance of 650 miles covering 31 stations.
