The Success Story of Lasbela University: Empowering Balochistan Through Education: Lasbela University has achieved unparalleled academic success, thanks to a (MoU) signed with the Southwest University of Science and Technology (SWUST) in Mianyang, China.

Alhamdulillah, 600 Watt out of One Mega Watt Solar Project has been energized at Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences. It has become the first University in Balochistan and among the few Institutes in Pakistan to convert the whole Campus on Solar Energy.

Governor Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar graced the Laptop and Benazir Scholarship cheque distribution ceremony at LUAWMS Uni. College of DMJ.The ceremony was held on October 11, 2023, and the Governor was the Chief Guest. A total of 197 laptops were distributed among the students.

Respected Vice Admiral (Retd) Ahmed Saeed HI (M), DG NIMA, along with a delegation visited Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences, Uthal on November 2, 2023.

Respected Guest had interactive session with Faculty and students of the Faculty of Marine Sciences. Discussions centered around maritime affairs, marine sciences, and the blue economy in Pakistan. We are grateful for their insights and look forward to continued collaboration.

Vice Chancellor signed an incubation contract with the Prime Minister's National Innovation Award (HEC) winning startups of LUAWMS students in HEC (khi.)on 5th Nov 2023.The contract allocates Rs. 1 Million to each of the startups, "greenocene" and "Qaswa-Camel" Milk Ice Cream.

An orientation session was held on 8th Nov. 2023 in Faculty of Education to support / guide the undergraduate students of LUAWMS to apply for scholarships under project titled “Provision of Higher Education Opportunities for Students of Balochistan & Erstwhile FATA (Phase-III).
