Don Williams Really liked the point in how chaotic the US youth game is. And a good reason why the player with a higher IQ gets lost in the game here
I posted a few weeks ago the Dallas Cup and Future Cup u17 games. It's abundantly evident how differently the game can be taught/played
Love this from Daniel Abrahams

Rex Chapman🏇🏼 When athletes 1st question is “how much money are u offering” on their visit is a bit of a turnoff from a coaching and fan perspective. That is a pro mentality. Fans watch college sports cause they don’t want to watch the “spoiled” pro athlete. It could affect viewership…

Ray Lifestyle Don Williams I read Dan Abrahams book recently. At one point he links high technical ability to tactical ability. ie If your first touch/ball control is perfect, you have more time to process the game so you appear smarter. He would argue focusing on technical is therefore tactical as well.
The hardest bit of the #CollegeSoccer recruiting process, for high school players, is getting onto a team.
You are unproven at the College level.
A gamble.
Get in the system, prove your worth, then if you deserve it, your abilities will get to where you want to be.
