The way to avoid emotion becoming a burden on business isn’t to ban it from the #workplace. Instead, it’s to embrace it & show #employees you understand how they’re feeling. Providing this validation motivates them to overcome any negative emotions & move forward with their work.

Often, #leaders react with judgment to employees’ emotions. Instead, try responding with curiosity by asking questions to understand why the person feels the way they do. Saying, “Tell me what’s happening. Tell me what you’re aware of,” helps an #employee feel validated & heard.
