@PHE_uk Sexually Transmitted Infections #STI and National Chlamydia Screening Programme (NCSP) 2019 data were released this morning. Here we see a 5% increase in STI diagnoses, 26% increase in gonorrhoea, a 10% increase in syphilis and 11% decrease in genital warts.

We've published our 2019 STI and chlamydia screening in England report. Diagnoses increased by 5% from 2018, including a 26% increase in gonorrhoea cases. Consistent and correct condom use with new sexual partners is the best defence against STIs. gov.uk/government/new…
