People always say we go back into a 80s toy commercial cartoon area. In the past 15 years we had plenty game and toy based cartoons. It never went away, you just don't care about the "product" anymore or enjoy the "expansion" of the game & call it art to ignore its true purpose.

If you only follow your vision to please the audience, your vision will be missing integrity. You try to please all and that is impossible. You as the creator are the target group. People who see your vision will automatically enjoy it without telling you to adapt their vision.
