It's a relief to see a slight recovery of the local population of Pearl-bordered Fritillaries in my local wood, after an all time low last year. fskndflsdkmf

Last night I noticed a female Mason Bee has nested in the cardboard roll of some poo bags - up on a shelf inside the house. She's been coming through 2 doors to get there. So now I'll be leaving those doors open all day, and I've ordered a new roll of bags!😀🐝💖

Does anyone know what crafted this beautiful object? It's made from a folded leaf (probably Small Scabious) and was attatched to a Small Scabious stem. Found in South Wiltshire Uk. Richard Lewington
