These alliances between particular communities and political parties are clearly cynical, promoting a sort of sectarian politics which undermines our national identity and interests. Labour still the main culprit but other parties are sadly not immune. theguardian.com/world/2025/jun…

Not sure this is the best case for welcoming migrants. If those coming in small boats hold the UK responsible for the destroying their land, are they crossing several safe countries to come and hold us responsible for our sins? Is that meant to convince the public to let them in?

It's remarkable just how apathetic we are towards our elderly. Mr Price may not have had any family, where are the neighbours? Wider community? How were these monsters allowed to wage a "prolonged campaign of harassment" against a septuagenarian without a single person caring?

How are people so surprised that cultures are very, very different around the world, that when they clash often there is no meeting halfway and only one can prevail? "Showing respect" to an alien culture can mean sacrificing more of oneself than either party is willing to?

Jenrick Effect at Blackfriars this morning, with police presence both inside and outside the barriers, very clearly watching for fare dodgers. Could do with a bit of that at Victoria.

Important if infuriating thread, not the least because it highlights the philosophy of the people pushing this agenda. The EDI industry is as vast as it is powerful, and the politicians willing to challenge it - let alone fight it - are few. Grim.

When DOGE Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿💰 posted their investigation into this and graciously shared their findings with me, it seemed worth looking into the story in further detail and raising a few more questions with the Ministry of Justice. My The Telegraph article here: telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/06/0…

My column today for Telegraph Money: If the aim of Labour's policy on private schools was to destroy an "elitist" education system, it may well be working. But if it was also to benefit the state education sector, it appears to be failing. telegraph.co.uk/money/labour-i…

Soon the only people to enter frontline politics will be thugs and goons who the hectoring mob will instinctively know not to harass like this. We are truly winning the race to the bottom.

8:30pm entering St James’s Park station through the Broadway entrance. A group of people - well-dressed, apparently healthy - try to push in as my ticket opens the gate. I resist, the gate shuts behind me. A TfL staff member watches on.

My The Telegraph Waste Watch column this morning offers the Mayor of London some helpful advice on savings before demanding more money from the Treasury. I'll be in the comment section for a while, responding to readers' thoughts. Please do join us! telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/06/1…

Perhaps it’s a cultural thing, but of course the younger of the two should at least offer to pick up the papers. There are many, many things that should haunt Keir Starmer, I’m not sure why this should be one of those.

The French police failed to prevent a man using a crutch from getting into a boat setting out to cross the Channel. Fewer than 40% of boats have been stopped by the French police so far this year, despite the £480 million 3-year Anglo-French deal in place to combat crossings.

Defence counsel in a child rape case can plead “cultural barrier” because “child marriage” (no such thing, as child cannot consent, read child rape) is common in his culture, but it’s racist to claim not all cultures are equally valid. H/t Katie Lam

I will never understand native Brits’ love affair with the sun. Bring back the clouds, bring back some rain, hail, snow, anything is better than this, surely!
