If you believe a student can, you help them develop the mindset that they can, & you move on to how. A disability does not= can't it just= another way. The challenge is the jump to take away opportunities for fear of failure instead of offering opportunities in hopes of success.

Humans are a cultural species. Our survival is dependent on acquiring this large body of information of non-genetic accumulated knowledge (i.e. culture) passed down through the generations as a cultural inheritance.

The problem with a substitute shortage is that teachers are losing planning to cover classes. Imagine your kindergartener basically thrown into a middle school situation, now having a new teacher every 50 minutes...and each teacher really not ready to be there. TeacherGoals

The scary part is that we continue to break systems in the name of equity, but the same adults without PD are going to ruin any system.. conversations, PD... it matters. The Madwoman in the Classroom
