I recently started thinking about how dangerous #OpenSource #AI can be, considering the models vulnerability. The question, is OpenSource AI is only beneficially to big org that have the compute resources or to the bad guys who are interested in using the tech for harms. #llms

Autoregressive Transformer models such as #ChatGPT are Turing complete and they are just a very expensive reiteration of a #Turing tar pit. You can do everything with them but it doesn't mean you should.

Use #LLMs where they are efficient & use other things where they are better
