Please go check out our Orthopaedic Research Society posters Fri-Tues that highlight excellent OA & tendon collaborations from our lab The Schnabel Lab (poster 2070) and the Matt Fisher lab (poster 1248). Hope everyone enjoys the annual meeting! #ORS2023

We are Dallas bound! The Bonassar Lab is thrilled to share our work at #ORS2023. Check out the presentations below to learn more about the ongoing work in our lab 😊🔬 Orthopaedic Research Society ORS Spine Section ORS Meniscus Cornell BME

Make sure to meet our talented post-doc Rebecca Irwin and veterinary research student Kaylee Montney at Orthopaedic Research Society 2023 annual meeting:

Very proud of Rebecca Irwin for participating in Gordon Research Conferences #cartilageGRC and bringing home a poster session award! We’re quite jealous of her views from the conference center. #GRC

Proud to have my 3rd #scicomm article for Cornell Research & Innovation feature the work of a dedicated and diversity-promoting graduate student who studies apple genetics! research.cornell.edu/news-features/…

Delco Lab is excited to announce an interdisciplinary #postdoc position with Bonassar Lab and Lab of Atomic & Solid State Physics @ Cornell! Reach out via DM or email for more info. #orthoresearch

🔙 Flashback to #ORS2025! Dr. Michelle Delco, Dr. Kristyna Hargitaiova & Dr. Lindsay Seewald presented their exciting cartilage research. Congratulations to Dr. Hargitaiova who won the 3R Preclinical Models Award! 🏆 Thanks to our collaborators Bonassar Lab & Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS)!

📙 This study by Delco Lab (Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine) reveals how mesenchymal stem cells transfer mitochondria to chondrocytes, a key mechanism of MSC therapeutic activity. Oxidative stress boosts this transfer, with the Cx43 isoform GJA1-20k playing a major role. ➡️stemcellres.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11…

Less than 2 weeks until Delco Lab presents our work on mitochondria-targeted therapies at the Mitochondrial Transplantation & Next Gen Therapeutics meeting at Hofstra University ! Catch talks by Dr. Delco, Dr. Hargitaiova & our amazing collaborator Dr. Hazel Szeto on April 29! 💊🔥

Wrapped up an incredible week at Rood & Riddle! Now back to research, prepping for my Tuesday conference talk at Hofstra University - and yes, had to try Kentucky bourbon in the cutest horsie thermos! 🐎🥃

Just back from the first ever Mitochondrial Transplantation & Next Gen Therapeutics Conference at Hofstra University , where Drs. Delco and Hargitaiova were awarded the Mitochondrial Rising Star award and enjoyed Dr. Szeto's insightful talk! 🧬⚡🐎
