34y ago today started a memorable 3month #EU #Erasmus study visit to UGent Renard Centre for Marine Geology. From the off, Prof Jean-Pierre Henriet welcomed me and gave me a lovely West Antarctic seismic dataset to get into. It also happened to be cyclng's Opening Weekend😊
