On average, women spend 𝟑,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 menstruating over their lifetime - that’s over 8 years! At DfG, we believe every one of those days should be met with confidence, dignity, and opportunity, free from any barriers. What would you do with the gift of 3,000 days?

Meet John, DfG’s Global Finance and Compliance Associate Director. Growing up, John never talked about menstruation—but now he teaches, “We are all the product of menstruation.” We are proud to have leaders like John helping create a #PeriodPositive world!

“I brought the menstrual kit that Days for Girls (DfG) gave me and showed it to my mother,” said one Cambodian student after a DfG education session. When we educate a girl, we uplift a whole community. Our work is not just changing individuals' lives; it is changing the world.

Without period products, girls are more likely to miss school or be unable to fully focus in their classes. On today’s World Day for International Justice, we remember that period justice looks like equal opportunities to participate in school, work, and social activities.

When a mom living in a women’s shelter got a job in healthcare, Small Sums - a local nonprofit in Minnesota - set her up with scrubs, shoes, socks, and a DfG washable pad Kit. Her story reminds us of how period products can help women feel confident and ready to thrive at work.

"The thing I like about my DfG Kit is that when I wear them, I sit comfortably in class because I know that the period blood will not come out of my clothes,” said a girl in Kenya. When girls have access to period products, they can focus in school and learn with confidence.
