Turkey has probably become the first country in the world to block access to the well-known Wattpad platform. Wattpad is a platform for reading & publishing original written fiction and has extensive number of users in Turkey. The reason for access blocking is yet to be known.

I spent some time yesterday playing with a version of ChatGPT that was trained to specialize in Trust and Safety compliance. Its answers were either (1) wildly erring on the side of suppressing lawful speech or (2) just saying the quiet part about laws like the DSA out loud. 1/
