Did anyone else find that when they registered for the ASCO annual meeting, their organization/institution name was pre-populated by the lengthy name of a small business development consultancy in Istanbul, Turkey? Just me? Curious web glitch. 🤔

Nice perspective by Andrea Valdez on history & value of postage stamps just published The Atlantic.

There was a neurology attending I rotated with as an intern in '97 who would check off *all* the boxes on lab slips because, you know, every once and a while he would 'find something'. I think that guy almost single-handedly ushered in the era of prior authorizations.

This isn’t a new phenomenon, as it turns out. I once stumbled across an article that mentioned in 1695, a pharmacy in Tallinn, Estonia was selling 54 different types of water.

Yesterday was the inaugural Jerry Ritz Symposium ⁦Dana-Farber⁩, organized by Rob Soiffer and Cathy Wu. Great to see Jerry honored in this way - he built the cellular therapy program at DFCI during his 40 years at the Institute and has been a mentor to many in the field.

I thought something was wrong with my office chair this morning as it started shaking, and then realized it was an - haven't felt one of those since I was on stage with Mikkael A. Sekeres MD, MS in Naples, Florida in 2006 with the Gulf Coast quake
