Red Mason bees started flying yesterday. I assume they clean out their nesting holes before starting the process on next year's generation.

Has involvement in the Hoad's wood affair been referred to IPCC. I certainly don't have all the facts, but it is sounding like a Rotheham situation, with environment as victim, with lots of agencies involved.
Not attaching blame, just asking.
Broom and Thyme-leaved Speedwell both starting to flower in the coppice. Broom will be spectacular in Barming / Oaken wood coppice next week.

Same obvious arguments - does not produce in winter when we need the power. Is land inefficient. Much more efficient placed in other areas nearer equator. etc etc.
When the tech is good/cheap enough, pair rooftop solar, with battery, ev & heat pump.
