The day after Israel is accused by a The Guardian investigation of repeatedly bullying the Int'l Criminal Court a Labour candidate Faiza Shaheen is forcibly deselected for retweeting that the Israeli lobby exists. It would be laughable were it not so disturbing. She must be reselected.
It breaks my heart to forward this. But it has to stop. It has to BE stopped. Keir Starmer Rishi Sunak DO something.
Short🧵on the appalling coverage by BBC News (UK) of Israel’s slaughter of Palestinian refugees sheltering in tents in a so-called ‘safe zone’ in Rafah.
1st they run a piece with the title ‘Deadly explosion reported in Rafah’ as if it happened out of nowhere.
This little snapshot of BBC News (UK) gives an insight into how it provides cover for Israel’s genocidal assault on the Palestinian people & is playing a role in allowing it to continue. Over 100,000 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed or injured by Israel in the last 8 months.
Important thread about BBC News (UK) providing cover for IDF atrocities against helpless and defenceless refugees who are being slaughtered hour by hour in their tents.
The BBC has now completely lost its moral bearings on Gaza, and seems terrified to report any news that in any way
God bless Guy Pearce and screw the liberal media ghouls who erase Palestinian humanity as the Palestinians endure a nightly genocide. Not sure how these folks sleep at night.
Has the BBC outsourced its coverage of the Rafah to the Israeli Embassy? When 45 people have just been hideously burned alive, how is that not a bloodbath, BBC News (UK) ? Would you use that language if, say, the bomb had dropped instead on Portland Place?
Deafening silence from UK politicians. There are real beheaded children here. Not invented. Real. On film. Keir Starmer and Rishi Sunak theguardian.com/world/live/202…
