Spinifex pigeons with impressive spiky crests. Spinifex grasses are spiky too; they go through trousers and spike you, with no visible damage on the fabric. We saw three Grasswren species. This is a Kalkadoon Grasswren. #southaustraliatourismcommission, #bellbirdtours

Took my camera to church to this morning Christ Church Cam in case of Waxwings in the churchyard so I was happily prepared for this White Stork circling over Jesus Green. "Even the stork in the sky knows her appointed seasons", tho the odd one might find itself a bit out of place.
