#snc1w Teaching about the nature of science is a step towards awakening a critical consciousness of scientific inquiry and processes. Replacing it with ‘curiosity and wonder’ potentially de-problematizes science as a practice. Teachers will have to watch out for this.

#SNC1W Many linear or cyclical design processes have students create abstractions out of complex problems to solve them in simplistic ways. We could instead use design processes that model compromise, and forward eco/social justice values. jps.library.utoronto.ca/index.php/jast…
