#rED25 The Professional Mind | 9:40 | M05 Not at all sure my slide deck will play from the cloud or my email (15MBs!) so have also captured the main points on 4 sheets of flip chart paper (placed on the floor as aide-mémoire). So it may be a slide-less presentation. Why not?

The best teachers I've seen don't use a wide range of activities. They do a few things, and they do them well. They hone them, practise them, and know exactly when each one should be used and why. The students become habituated to them, and learning goes through the roof.

On Thursday we have a big announcement at InnerDrive. We’re currently putting the finishing touches to it. We’ve spent the last five months working on a BIG upgrade to the Teacher CPD Academy. Can’t wait to share it 🔵🟡

A thread of books that have helped me as a leader and a human being. First up, the brilliant Thanks for the Feedback! Kathryn Morgan introduced this to me when I joined the Teacher Development Trust team as an honourary member for the reformed NPQ work.

3. Improving Handwriting 📝 We investigate why young students reverse letters, how to support left hand-writers, why handwriting still matters in a digital world and pencil grips. This course was done in conjunction with the legend that is Neil Almond

So it’s Tom Bennett OBE time, and here’s his 9 point behaviour plan for Scotland’s schools. It’s based on visiting schools around the world and finding out what works best. #rEDEdinburgh
