Rachel Reeves is on course to secure a windfall from the falling cost of the UK’s debt-interest payments for the first time since she became chancellor of the exchequer bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

That’s our stall well and truly laid out for the rest of the season. Onyeka adding extra bite in midfield. Wright running around like a man possessed. Brilliant pressing. Superb performance all round #pusb

Liberal Democrats Helen Morgan MP 🔶 You are delberately misleading people. Councils were given the opportunity to postpone elections due to restructuring. Some took it up, and the gov agreed. None were cancelled. Some were postponed. The cost is £63 million for an extra election. Shame on you for misleading.

Between 2021 and 2024, tories delayed over 400 council elections, thats on top of over 2500 delayed due to covid, reform, lib dem, tories, and the media reaction.

Tentative signs of a stabilisation in the UK labour market with vacancies now levelling off, and payroll losses slowing. Headlines will focus on the rise in unemployment to 5.2% (as this govt, and previous governments have overdone the burden on employers) but both the UK

Reform's newly announced Shadow Cabinet is 100% privately educated. Britain has not had a 100% privately educated Cabinet since 1955.

I see Sky News and a national broadcaster in Nicky Campbell on BBC 5 Live are continuing to say Labour “cancelled” the elections in May. This is not correct and should be called out. #Elections2026

Farage has announced his Shadow Cabinet, with no Health Secretary. Presumably because if he becomes Prime Minister, there’ll be no NHS.

There is something deeply pathetic about a man - who is not an MP - who is not a member of the actual Opposition - who hasn’t been elected by anyone to do anything Calling himself the ‘Shadow Home Secretary’…

Labour delivering very good economic news this week alongside some big news for Wales and SEND education. Also new tech for illegal waste is already delivering with multiple arrests. A special call out to Rachel Reeves this week. 👏👏👏👏

On from my previous post asking if you would vote Reform... Out of the following options, which of these parties would you vote for if a general election was held tomorrow? I personally would go reform. What about you?

Let me get this right. According to our right-wing media: We SHOULDN’T blame the Royal Family for Andrew being arrested for misconduct in public office. However … We SHOULD blame the Labour Party for Mandelson being arrested for misconduct in public office. 🤔😕🤨

B&Q have noted a sharp rise in staff being asked by the general public if they have “been on their break yet”. #SmallProphets
