Update on Wem incident: Following an unexploded ordnance being handed into police this afternoon (Wednesday 17 April), Explosives Ordnance Disposal attended and moved the device to a safe location where they conducted a controlled explosion.

The cordon is now lifted.

The failure to protect our farmers from flooding and to adequately compensate them is undermining our ability to feed ourselves.

A country that cannot feed itself is destined to fail, and a Government who cannot protect and support farmers in order to do that must be removed.

It was great to speak to school children as part of Youth Empowerment Day today.
