I didn’t like the idea of DCRs but having read lots of published papers about them, I now think they’re a great idea!

This has taken a while to become a reality. Its often surprising how difficult it is to take an idea that has not been widely seen before and make it into something that a person wants or needs. Hopefully this is useful to people... iceye.com/imaging-modes/…

Pretty scary looking at Twitter through bleary eyes first thing in the morning and seeing your face on there… For a moment I thought I had died… 😂 Nice job @ICEYEfi marketing team ….. ! 💪

50 years ago the still secret National Reconnaissance Office was using their satellites to photograph the damaged Skylab station in orbit. The resulting image is still classified thespacereview.com/article/4588/1

Checkout our 3 newest children. Hopefully to be launched tonight on Transporter-8. These new kids have a few extra surprises for the SAR community.

Separation confirmed! 🛰️🛰️🛰️🛰️ All 4 ICEYE SAR satellites successfully separated from the Falcon 9 rocket. Big congratulations to Team ICEYE & huge thank you to @EXOLAUNCH and SpaceX!

A good write-up about how Finland became a relatively strong and succesful spacefaring nation 🛰️🚀🇫🇮 #SuomiAvaruudessa

I asked the team if they could help me to explain why it makes such an amazing difference when our satellites stare at a location for a really long time. I still find this amazing and it wasn't something that I fully appreciated when we started flying the satellites in odd ways.

Still a bit cringy hearing my own voice …. But the imagery is cool. Thanks for helping me try and explain this @ICEYEfi

Can’t believe how over-enthusiastic I get talking about nerdy stuff - sorry (But gotta admit that satellite+RADAR+earth-observation is pretty cool) 🛰️+📟+🌎=😎

Happy Birthday ICEYE-X2 ! a bit battered and bruised but still taking images 5 years on. @ICEYEfi linkedin.com/pulse/happy-bi…

Farewell ICEYE-X1 - you started a revolution down here and proved it was possible to make a fine resolution small SAR satellite. 🫡 Now who won the bet on when this would come down @ICEYEfi ?

Darren Muff @ICEYEfi I watched it being launched. It’s fantastic that it has been followed by so many more. Here it is, ready to go, 14 hours before launch on 11/1/2018:

Iceyen ensimmäinen satelliitti on palaamassa ilmakehään seuraavan parin vuorokauden aikana. X-1 laukaistiin alkuvuonna 2018 ja sen jälkeen yritys on laukaissut parikymmentä uutta satelliittia. X-1 oli käytössä vain noin puoli vuotta, mutta siitä yrityksen menestystarina alkoi.
