4 weeks til Kidical Mass Brighton & Hove!

Yes, excellent indeed. This is what I'm thinking of when improving areas for families. Make it so that kids can actually walk, play, scoot, cycle without constant fear of being run over... even on the pavement!

Our venue was broken into, all the copper stripped out causing floods & damage & some of our PA stolen. So our events this weekend have to be cancelled & community training planned for SEN charities. Our volunteers are devastated #woking #cic #grassrootsmusicvenue

Got to agree with the gist of this... my priorities to make Hove more family-friendly would be:

- Ban pavement parking
- Build cycle lanes to connect the city by bike
- Improve parks
- Pedestrianise shopping areas
- Cheaper buses

Councils will have to consider local residents' views before introducing new low traffic neighbourhoods (LTNs) under new government guidance.
