55 years ago today, the Apollo 11 rocket crawled along the three-and-a-half-mile journey to Launch Pad 39A. The 363-foot-high space vehicle later launched Apollo 11 astronauts Neil A. Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin E. Aldrin Jr. on the first crewed lunar landing mission.

41 years ago today, Return of the Jedi was released. This was the only film of the original releases I got to view at the cinema.
