I am very impulsive. So one asked me to fly to Ukraine for #phpfwdays conf and like I sucker I said yes. If this year I make a better decision it would have been a great year. Such an amazing, well organised conference with great talks. Thank you everyone who made it so!

Decided to help an intern today tag some monitors for inventory. Admittedly it was just one monitor I tagged, and it was just to trigger my bosses OCD, but I still did my part :)

Last night I dreamt I had to clean up an incredibly messy work kitchen, it's hard to describe the happiness I woke up with realising it was just a dream.

Just learnt a valuable lesson about running #phpunit outside of the testing environment, it only cost an email to every employee of the company.

Today I got to work in such a good mood, it was gonna be a great day, I could finally get round to functionality X or Y, can move us closer to our goal with Z, so many possibilities. And then I'm asked to do a data entry job with lots of complexities. There goes my productivity.

A productive long week end of nothing :)

What do you mean suspicious activity on my credit card? Yes I did try and buy energy drink powder from Asia followed by a conference ticket for Ukraine.

Was really proud of myself for something small I've spent a day on, just to be slapped in the face by whats technically a minor detail but a complete show stopper. If it wasn't for the fact I learnt a few things it would be a complete waste of a day.

Today has been an awesome day of coding, I got to play around for the first time with yarn, sockets and Symfony4. There are so many great puns I could make to tie these all together, but I'm not sure which one I should conduct.

A co-worker just laughed at me having a favourite HTTP status.

Hmm, do I do a bit of morning coding before work... or do I make a few improvements to an AOE map I've been working on... choices.

It's a nice feeling helping more junior members of the team finish their first contributions to the company's software. It's even better when it marks the completion of the first code they have written. Shame I can't have this feeling and that of productivity.
