We want to thank the Oak Ridge Breakfast Rotary Club for visiting our 3rd graders today and bringing them their very own student dictionary!!

What a great Christmas gift!!! We are so excited!!!

S chool may not be back in session yet, but today we received a visit from ORAU. They delivered Ms. Brooks’ new 3D printer, Echo Dot and VR Goggles..... we can’t wait to get busy learning with these new tools!

Teacher training also goes beyond the classroom.... today we all went through Stop the Bleed Training. This training will help us be prepared for all types of scenarios at school and in our personal lives!

Today, Dutch Valley Elementary School welcomed Ollie Otter . Students learned about carseat and booster safety. In addition to that information about booster seats, the students learned about the importance of adults not driving while distracted like during cellphone usage.

Food distribution will follow the blue areas for car rider line.

The final count of meals served today was 4,284!! Amazing job AC School Nutrition! Huge thank you to all that helped make this happen! The next distribution is Thursday. Check ACS.ac for times and locations.

It’s Wednesday! Do you know what that means? Our students get to leave early, but our staff stays late and work on data, learning plans and discuss ways to reach every student, everyday! Our staff is truly amazing!
