#EXCLUSIVE Corporation tax is on course to break expectations again this year - the Minister for Finance has told Virgin Media News. "It could well exceed what was predicted at the start of the year" says Jack Chambers. Corpo tax was up over 100% in August.

Corporation tax revenues look to be surging yet again. Figures published just now show €3.7bn was collected in August alone. That's more than double the same month in 2023 and almost as much as was collected in a full year a decade ago.

There are 1,116 schools in Northern Ireland, so rolling these "magnetic pouches" out to all schools in NI would cost around £27.9m. The off button is free.
