Launching today the Irish Stone Axe Project: Digital Collection through the Digital Repository of Ireland (DRI). The collection is an image catalogue of 366 axeheads, including scaled photographs, artefact drawings and petrological thin section images.

We're delighted to see that the Irish Stone Axe Project: Digital Collection led by Professor Gabriel Cooney UCD Archaeology has been made publicly available through the Digital Repository of Ireland!
The project was funded through the Nowlan Digitisation Grants scheme (2022) by #RIAgrants .
