Congratulations to 2nd year student Luca Moran who won a gold medal in the U15 high jump with a personal best of 1m 53m in the Dublin Juvenile Indoor Championship last weekend. Everyone in the college is delighted for Luca and we wish him well in the All Ireland Finals.

We had the Sod Turning for the St Thomas’ Multi-sport Complex this afternoon. Adding multi sport & track enclosure buildings, to the fantastic existing track, is phase 2 of this sports campus. DSDAC is heartbroken to share that our beloved friend and coach, Billy O’Dwyer, has passed away after falling ill post a 10k race in Nice on Sunday. As a mark of respect, all Club training is cancelled on Tuesday, 29th April. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

We’re delighted for Eimear - a fantastic run & she’s bringing a European championship medal home to DSD and the county Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.
