2/22/22 It's Twos-day! How about a planet with two stars, where a visitor would have two shadows? We know of almost 400 systems with at least two stars! ☀️☀️ go.nasa.gov/3Hadm5l

By the way, this is an ultra-deep image of Andromeda (M31) taken in 2019. The main structures in the galaxy's halo and some tidal structures are well recognizable. About 200 hours of exposure with telephoto lenses of 200 and 300mm.

I spent 27 days shooting over 2 million photos of the moon to capture how it dances in our sky. This is the most detailed “Lunation” I’ve ever captured. #astrophotography #space #opteam

Small adjustments, major progress! Having completed 2 more mirror alignment steps, #NASAWebb’s optical performance will be able to meet or exceed its science goals. Now that’s good optics! 😉 go.nasa.gov/3KMV1gW #UnfoldTheUniverse Curious about this image? Thread ⬇️
